Would you give a co-worker a hard time for dressing up for work in a more casual office?
I just get so much grief for dressing in skirts and heels because no one else in the office does. Actually, now I wouldn’t even think of dressing any other way because irritating these women co-workers has become my one form of entertainment at this job.
Anyway, I just was wondering if this is common in office jobs, and I’ll either have to find a job where everyone wears skirts and heels or bow to the peer pressure and start wearing my stained walk-the-dog clothing (which, btw, never ever would happen!) Thanks for your opinions!
No way. However, if people were dressing casual in a business professional office, then yes, I would give them a hard time.
There’s nothing wrong with dressing up when you don’t have to. However, I have a problem with dressing down when people shouldn’t be.
