Pet stores that sell puppies in Chicago?
I’ve been trying to look up Poodle puppies for sale in Chicago. (For those of you who want to automatically write back and tell me to go to rescue places, believe me, I’m looking at those! The problem is that I’m allergic and need a hypoallergenic dog (like a poodle), and most of those you can’t find in Rescue Centers.)
So I’ve also been looking up pet stores in the Chicago area, but it’s hard to discern which ones are just pet supply stores, and which ones actually sell dogs. Can people give me the names of some so I can just stop by at some of these places and take a look?
Look for a store called “Happiness Is Pets”
It’s a puppy store with quite a selection. I know there is one in Downers Grove. There is one in Napperville. They are all over. Just look them up.
I used to work at one in Warrenville, however, it closed. Be careful when shopping for puppies at puppy stores, a lot of them get puppies from mills. Happiness Is Pets usualy get their puppies from breeders. They try to avoid mill pups. That was the reason my store closed down. The cooperation found out that our particular store was getting puppies from mills and closed it down (Me and the other workers had no idea about this). They wanted to keep the stores free of mill puppies.
Over all, “Happiness Is Pets” is a good store. We took very good care of the puppies and they all seemed healthy and great.
